It has been a while...

One of the babies I knit while attempting to understand -
"life, the universe and everything..."

As words have
wandered,
wondering where to land,

I have been stitching
sentences into seams

   and knitting
nightly with
patterns filled with
hope.


Fabricating,
    finishing,
what seems
never to be
     accomplished.


So the tangible
    smooths the
intangibles

of my life.
